Anyone actually using EVOO on their face long term?

Hi, not sure if this is the correct category for this but I’ll post anyway lol.

I’ve been using a tiny bit of extra virgin olive oil at night on my face and mostly when my skin’s feeling dry or flaky. It seems to help and I love that it’s just one ingredient and already in my kitchen. But I’m wondering…

Has anyone here used it consistently for skincare over time? Like, not just once or twice but for months?

Did you notice any changes (good or bad)? and does it clog pores for anyone?

Just trying to figure out if I should keep going with it or if it might cause issues long term. Would love to hear real experiences from people who’ve stuck with it.

Thank you!!!

I’ve been using EVOO on my face since the '90s and I’m not stopping anytime soon.

I’ve got dry skin and I’ve never been one for fancy creams, too many ingredients I can’t pronounce. A few drops of real extra virgin olive oil at night, rubbed into damp skin? That’s my go-to. Keeps things soft, calm and glowy, especially in the winter.

Never clogged my pores, but here’s the trick: less is more. Just a whisper of it, if your face is shiny like a frying pan, you’re overdoing it

Everyone’s skin is different, of course, but if it’s working for you, I say keep at it. Nature knows best.
